How to create hyper-realistic AI videos

Hey there!

I’m back with a summary of interesting happenings in AI with a focus on ChatGPT.

We'll talk about:

  • 🧐 Brain implants with AI - This company is putting ChatGPT-enabled chips into people's brains!

  • 🎥 Hyper-realistic AI vidoes are here.

  • 🤖 OpenAI now allows you to fine-tune your personal version of ChatGPT 4o.

  • 📱 AI is coming to your phones.

  • 📸 Uber is going to start providing "robotaxis" - will you ride one?

Brain chip implants with ChatGPT

We've had BCIs (Brain Chip Implants) for a while now, but Synchron is the first company to successfully integrate ChatGPT into one.

Mark was diagnosed with ALS in 2021 and he mentioned that he's almost lost the use of his hands. He's one of 10 people in the world who got implanted with Synchron's BCI as part of clinical trials.

Typing out messages word by word with the help of a BCI takes a lot of time. Adding AI makes communication faster and easier since it considers the context, like the last thing said in a conversation, and suggests possible answers, giving options to choose from.

Synchron's implant, the stentrode, is placed in a blood vessel close to the brain's motor cortex, which controls movements. To use the Synchron BCI, users just have to think about moving. The BCIse thoughts and wirelessly sends them picks up on tho to carry out the desired action on the user's device.

The implications are pretty wild - right now, this tech is focused on people who need an alternative way to communicate with the world - andund 50-100k USD ,  the cost is arobut it won't be long before this kind of tech is available for the masses.

Would you get one?

Hyper-realistic AI vidoes are here

This video went viral a couple of weeks ago because of how ridiculously real it looks.

It's pretty crazy how good these video-generation tools have gotten, and they're only going to get better.

The process used to generate this is image generation with flux plus LoRA and then the image-to-video functionality with RunwayML.

If you want to create such videos yourself - here's a full guide. It is quite a lengthy process, though.

Fine-tune ChatGPT for your tasks

You can now train a custom model that specializes in exactly what you want it to do - is it sales, marketing, or law? Upload only the exact books and materials you want - even better if you have specialized material you work with - and become an expert on it; ChatGPT will create perfectly tailored output for your exact needs based only on what you gave it to work with so you have absolutely no worries about accuracy.

There are so many possible applications here. For example, if you're a designer and your company has design principles, upload those, and everything ChatGPT creates will adhere to those principles.

AI is coming to your phones

CThe latest Apple and Android phones and laptops/tablets are integrating AI in a big way.

In its newest updates, Apple has redesigned Siri to use AI, and it's going to become a lot more useful - thanks to their partnership with OpenAI, it's basically like talking to ChatGPT, which can also do things on your phone.

This is how AI is slowly becoming a normal part of our lives. We'll begin to use it more without thinking too much about it.

The best part about this is Apple's focus on privacy, ensuring on-device processing and secure handling of personal data.

GM’s Cruise will offer robotaxis on Uber’s platform starting next year

We've known about driverless cars for a while - but they're becoming more and more accessible.

Uber has been using driverless cars in Phoenix since last October through a partnership with Alphabet's Waymo - the only U.S. firm operating unmanned robotaxis right now and it does around 100,000 rides per week - a number that's doubled since May this year.

Now it looks like the GM-backed Cruise will also make its fleet available on Uber starting next year!

Would you ride a driverless taxi?

Spot the fake

Okay, so we're trying something new today. With AI images and videos becoming so common, I want to show you guys just how good they've gotten.

One of these images is fake - and the other is real - can you tell which is which at a single glance? Answer below.

Prompt of the day

Convert spreadsheets into charts on ChatGPT.

Take the data from the file I've attached and visualize it as a time series (or any other chart of your choice) [Attach file with data]

You can adapt the prompt to your specific needs.

Spot the fake answer: The fake image is A, and B is real - crazy, right?

Thanks for reading.

Until next time!
