SearchGPT is coming—here’s how to profit from Google’s demise

I’m back with a summary of what's been happening in AI with a focus on ChatGPT.

It's been a while, and there's been a lot of stuff happening. AI remains the hottest topic in the world! 

We'll talk about:

• 🔎 SeachGPT - A search engine created by OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, that will change how we search the internet forever!

• 🔮 The new advanced features of ChatGPT version 4o that include custom GPTS, uploading and analyzing files, using voice to talk to ChatGPT, and more are now free for all customers

• 🕵️ This company has successfully used AI to detect cancer five years before it develops

• 📸 Instagram now allows people to create custom AI avatars that can interact with their followers.

SearchGPT is going to change how we search for information forever.

It was only a matter of time, but OpenAI has demoed its new SearchGPT feature, and it's currently on the waitlist for the prototype version.

Honestly, I  feel like this is really necessary - half the search results on Google these days are either articles disguised as ads or just plain garbage - and of course, I can't even remember the last time I went to "Page 2" of Google search because it's just unrelated to what I asked.

Here’s how you can profit from it:

There are websites like perplexity.ai that specialize in using web searches for LLMs - and I can guarantee you they will go the advertising mode - ads eventually will shift from search engines to LLMs - prepare for that - be sure you know the tools (or read my emails) and stay tuned for the ads to open and get on there before anyone else!

SearchGPT and other LLMs that specialize in searching the web (things like perplexity.ai) work by scraping the web - so the more platforms your data is on - the more times it’ll see it and think it’s good - so whatever product you have, maximize the exposure on all platforms - and I mean all of them - even if the content is not optimized or doesn’t get views just post it!

ChatGPT 4o with advanced features is now available for free users

For the last year and a half, since ChatGPT exploded on the world scene, the best features of ChatGPT have been behind a paywall of $20 per month (which, to be honest, has been completely worth it), but now they're available to all users for free!

Important things that you couldn’t do before on the free version include: 

Analyzing data and creating charts by uploading files

For many years now, companies sneak small print into everything, knowing we can't read it all - whether it's your new insurance policy, a rental agreement, or just a flight booking - it's hard to know what you're signing unless you want to spend hours—Combing through the fine print! 

But now you can just upload the file into ChatGPT and ask it questions like " What is not covered in my insurance policy?" and it'll just tell you like you were talking to a human!

You can also use this feature to analyze data and create charts and graphs to visualize it!

ChatGPT can now see, hear, and talk.

Now you can just take pictures of things directly - and then talk to ChatGPT about them! Whether you just need information or a diagnosis like why your car won't start - just take a picture and ask ChatGPT. 

I got a nasty cut on my hand that wouldn't heal, and I asked ChatGPT what to do - faster, cheaper, and more reliable than going to the ER.

It's crazy that ChatGPT can now see, hear, and speak- you can also use this functionality to practice stuff (like for interviews or exams - or just talk to a potential client) or learn stuff like a new language like a personal language and pronunciation tutor.

Use Custom GPTs created for specific functionality.

This is the GPT store, and it now has thousands of GPTs (free) with special functionality, whether it's for sales/marketing advice, negotiation, car/home buying, or anything else.

These are customized for specific functions and are more specialized than just talking to ChatGPT.

I used one just earlier today to help me understand the different features between the many dozens of models of different cars!

AI is used to detect cancer years before it develops.

Exciting news, and honestly, hopefully, we're only going to see more and more of this - imagine a world where you have a custom GPT with your full medical history - you don't have to go to the doctor for a diagnosis, just video chat with the AI on your phone. You have a doctor who is specialized in all things you diagnose you! 

Instagram now lets people create AI profiles.

This is kind of crazy, to be honest - there are already enough bots on Instagram - but this is now allowing everyone to create one.

The next time you talk to someone famous on Instagram - their AI avatar will reply to you (as if it was them!).

Though they're clearly marked as AI, that's one good thing here.
